2010 Cleanup & Project Schedule

    Adopt-A-Beat – Mio to Comins.  Adopt-A-Beat runs from the week following Memorial Day until the week before Labor Day.  More details on Adopt-A-Beat at www.adopt-a-beat.org.

July 4^th (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) – Major Access Sites.  We’ll need volunteers to clean up Camp Ten, Whirlpool, Mio, Comins, McKinley and 4001.    

     July 24^th (Saturday) – Van Luven Erosion Site.  We will be working with Huron Pines and other groups to stabilize an eroded bank just a bend or two above the famed Magic Riffle.  Meeting details will be on our website by mid June 

   Race Weekend (Sunday, July 25^th) – Major Access Sites.  We’ll need volunteers to clean up Camp Ten, Whirlpool, Mio, Comins, McKinley and 4001.  

September 11^th – Fall Cleanup, 8 AM, Mio MDOT, BBQ to follow at Comins Flats at noon.  Boats meet at 8 am for coffee & donuts.  Waders show up at 9 am.  Bring waders if you can.  Participants get free 70 Degree Pledge T-Shirts while they last.  All sorts of great swag and door prizes as well.  We’ll treat you right!

             Adopt of Beat has new guidelines!  You pick the beat and how often that you want to clean it.  The ASBWPA will supply trash bags, gloves and stickers if you need them.  We will also give you space on the Adopt-A-Beat website to promote a business or cause.
