Memorial Day (Sunday, Monday) – Major
Access Sites. We’ll need volunteers to clean
up Camp Ten, Whirlpool, Mio, Comins, McKinley and
4001. (We may have a BBQ Sunday at Comins, check
website.)
Adopt-A-Beat – Mio to Comins.
Adopt-A-Beat runs from the week following Memorial
Day until the week before Labor Day. More details on
Adopt-A-Beat at
www.adopt-a-beat.org.
July 4th (Saturday, Sunday, Monday,
Tuesday) – Major Access Sites. We’ll need
volunteers to clean up Camp Ten, Whirlpool, Mio,
Comins, McKinley and 4001.
July 24th (Saturday) – Van Luven
Erosion Site. We will be working with Huron
Pines and other groups to stabilize an eroded bank.
Meeting details will be on our website by mid June.
Race Weekend (Sunday, July 25th) –
Major Access Sites. We’ll need volunteers to
clean up Camp Ten, Whirlpool, Mio, Comins, McKinley
and 4001.
September 11th – Fall Cleanup,
8 AM, Mio MDOT, BBQ to follow at Comins Flats at
noon. Boats meet at 8 am for coffee & donuts. Waders
show up at 9 am. Bring waders if you can.
Participants get free 70 Degree Pledge T-Shirts
while they last. All sorts of great swag and door
prizes as well. We’ll treat you right!
Join the 4001 Brigade! Help Keep the
Au Sable Clean Below McKinley! We need folks
to clean the river below McKinley Bridge. It's
remote and the access is limited but there's plenty
of trash down there.
Adopt of Beat has new guidelines!
You pick the beat and how often that you want to
clean it. The ASBWPA will supply trash bags, gloves
and stickers if you need them. We will also give you
space on the Adopt-A-Beat website to promote a
business or cause. Go To
